A polypropylene-based adhesive tape for internal fixing and insulation within the cell. Its adhesive is resistant to lithium electrolyte; the adhesive on standard tapes dissolves in electrolyte, contaminating the cell and degrading performance. Used to secure the electrode stack and close the end of a winding.
