The three roll mill is mainly used for various kinds of paste such as paint, ink, pigment, plastic and food. The grinding effect is achieved through the surface of the three horizontally arranged rollers and the friction of their different speeds. Generally the material meets requirements after grinding twice; difficult material must be ground several times. The final processing fineness reaches about 3-18 µm (measured by fineness scraper).

Applicable material viscosity is below 3,000,000 CPS. It is not suitable for grinding raw material with an acid-base composition sufficient to cause roller corrosion.
