A hydroxide precursor material used in the production of NFM layered oxide cathodes. Nickel, iron and manganese are present in almost exactly equal molar proportions (approximately 33.3% each). It is converted into the final cathode material by mixing with a sodium source and calcining, making it the starting material for research groups developing their own cathode synthesis recipes.
