A graphite anode with limited electrode thickness growth during charging. Graphite expands roughly 10% in volume when it takes up lithium; this expansion creates internal pressure in fixed-volume cell casings and shortens cycle life. This grade was developed for applications with tight thickness tolerances, such as portable electronics.
