Aluminum foil with a thin conductive carbon layer applied to its surface. This layer lowers the contact resistance between the aluminum and the electrode and markedly reduces cell internal resistance, particularly with cathodes of low electronic conductivity such as LFP. It also improves adhesion of the electrode to the foil.
Key Features
- A carbon coating that lowers aluminum-to-electrode contact resistance
- Reduces cell internal resistance with low-conductivity cathodes such as LFP
- Single or double-sided coating options with 12/13/14/15 um thickness
