An 8-micron copper foil with a conductive carbon layer applied to its surface. The carbon layer strengthens adhesion of the anode electrode to the foil, a property particularly critical for silicon anodes since volume change during charging can cause the electrode to delaminate. Its elongation of over 1.5% preserves flexibility.
Key Features
- A carbon coating that strengthens adhesion of the anode electrode to the foil
- Helps limit delamination caused by volume change in silicon anodes
- Flexibility preserved with over 1.5% elongation; single or double-sided options
