This version has an added gas outlet connection for use with a differential electrochemical mass spectrometer (DEMS); gases formed during measurement are sent to the mass spectrometer.
Based on the in-situ XRD battery cell; phase changes are followed by XRD and gas evolution by mass spectrometry at the same time.
The cell can be assembled and sealed in a glovebox and then measured outside; O-ring sealing keeps air and moisture out.
