Compact Rotating Disk / Ring-Disk Electrode Rotator (80–8000 rpm)

A compact rotator for rotating disk (RDE) and rotating ring-disk (RRDE) electrodes with a wide 80–8000 rpm speed range. The rotating unit and controller are separate and lightweight.

The shaft can work at any angle: tilted about 45° to clear bubbles during measurement or turned 180° to act like a spin coater for spreading catalyst. The brushless motor needs no maintenance and safety functions monitor operation and alarm on abnormalities.

Inert gas blown along the shaft controls the gas atmosphere in the cell and protects parts from organic solvent and acid vapours. Speed can be controlled from the front panel, by software via USB, by RS-232C commands or by external voltage input.
