In-Situ Mass Spectrometry Flow Cell (DEMS Cell)

Differential electrochemical mass spectrometry (DEMS) connects the electrochemical cell to the vacuum system of a mass spectrometer through a porous hydrophobic membrane, so gaseous and volatile products are detected as soon as they form.

This flow cell is designed for DEMS: during a potential sweep the ion current of a selected mass is recorded together with the faradaic current, giving a mass voltammogram.

Supplied as standard with an Ag/AgCl (or Ag/Ag⁺) reference electrode and a platinum wire counter electrode.
