Sum-frequency generation (SFG) vibrational spectroscopy only gives signal from interfaces where symmetry is broken, so it is used to study molecules and water structure selectively at the electrode/electrolyte interface.
This cell provides a thin electrochemical chamber with internal dimensions of 20 × 5 × 5 mm for SFG measurements and supports flow operation. The working-electrode housing can be customised.
