The in-situ XRD cell lets X-rays pass through the window to the working electrode, so phase and crystal-structure changes of the electrode material can be followed under potential.
The working electrode sits within 3 mm of the window; it comes with a Ø5 mm glassy carbon disk and can be replaced by Au, Pt or Ag disks. The body is PEEK and high-purity titanium.
The cell can be connected to a pump for continuous electrolyte flow or filled with a syringe for static measurements.
