A transparent PMMA (acrylic) test cell for evaluating air electrodes and metal-air battery systems such as zinc-air; electrode and electrolyte behaviour can be observed directly during testing.
The open-air type mimics practical conditions with the air electrode exposed to ambient air. The enclosed type has a closed gas chamber behind the air electrode for gas circulation, controlled atmosphere and more repeatable measurements.
