A ready-made electrolyte formulated for LCO cathode cells operating at high voltage. LiPF6 is dissolved in a blend of EC, EMC and DEC, with FEC and PS (propane sultone) added as additives. FEC protects the cathode surface at high voltage while PS contributes to stable interphase formation on the anode side.
