An imide-based lithium salt with a wide electrochemical stability window. The bulky TFSI anion gives the salt good solubility in polymer matrices, making it the most widely used lithium salt in solid polymer electrolyte, gel electrolyte and ionic liquid studies. It has high thermal stability.
