An imide-based sodium electrolyte salt. It is markedly more resistant to hydrolysis than NaPF6 and has high thermal stability, an advantage in cell designs operating across a wide temperature range. It also contributes to the formation of a stable interphase layer (SEI) on the anode surface.
Key Features
- More resistant to hydrolysis than NaPF6, with greater moisture tolerance
- High thermal stability suited to wide temperature range studies
- Contributes to stable SEI formation on the anode surface
