An in-situ pressure tester for solid-state pouch cells housed in an explosion-proof enclosure. Although solid-state cells are considered safer than conventional lithium-ion cells, prototypes under development can fail through thermal runaway or gas accumulation; the enclosure protects both the instrument and the operator. It offers a 0-30 Ton load range and ≥50 mm stroke.
