A fixture developed to apply constant external clamping pressure to conventional lithium pouch cells and solid-state pouch cells during testing. Because pouch cells have no rigid casing, swelling during cycling disrupts electrode contact; controlled external pressure limits this effect. The standard 70 x 80 mm platform size can be produced to custom dimensions.
